Margie’s dedication to helping clients achieve their personal and financial goals spans nearly three decades. By working closely with her clients to determine the “purpose behind the money,” she develops a customized investment strategy consistent with their individual needs. She embraces a comprehensive approach to personal finance, mortgage and debt counseling, insurance plans, tax consequences, retirement savings and estate planning.
Margie prioritizes giving back to a community that has given so much to her. She holds leadership positions on multiple boards and councils, including Suffolk Business Women, Suffolk Humane Society, Suffolk Rotary, Lake Prince Woods Retirement Community and WHRO’s Community Advisory Board.
Margie has been in the financial services industry since 1994 and has served in many roles and capacities. She has worked for companies that include HSBC, Edward Jones and now Raymond James.
Originally from upstate New York, Margie and her husband, Mark, live in Suffolk with their big-eared rescue dog, Audie, named for World War II icon Audie Murphy and Nelly, a rescue pup from the Humane Society. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, walks with Audie and volunteering in her community.

Susan has worked in the financial industry for nearly 30 years. She strives to offer personalized client service, addressing individual concerns and questions with a timely, thoughtful approach. Her client-focused perspective relies on candid conversations to foster lasting relationships built on transparency and trust.
Before joining Freedom Street Partners in November 2017, Susan was a senior branch office administrator at Edward Jones. Earlier in her career, she spent 6 years as a loan processor at Landmark Federal Bank in Dodge City, Kansas.
Susan enjoys working in a fluid field that offers daily challenges. The Suffolk native resides in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, with her two cats, Jasper and Kitty. She has one daughter, Michelle, born on Christmas Day, and two grandsons, Tristan and Dominic.
Shari Underwood
Executive Assistant

Shari embraces new challenges with a versatile skillset that enables her to thrive in multiple professional areas. As Executive Assistant to Financial Advisor Margie Wiley, she supports Raymond James’ personalized approach and helps to ensure clients realize their financial goals. Shari oversees everything from financial reports to marketing, advertising, social media and community relations.
Prior to joining Raymond James in August 2020, Shari was involved in Marketing and Management in the Medical Field for 17 years in her hometown, Suffolk. The Old Dominion University graduate, who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, has also worked for a Community Services Board and an Electrical Cooperative. Shari held positions at a newspaper and grocery chain while in college. She also attended bartending school and earned her nail technician license.
Shari and her husband, Larry, have been married for 30 years. They enjoy traveling, particularly in Florida, and love to spend time on a family property on the Chowan River in North Carolina.
